Lindsey is an actress and writer (among other things) and has been living in New York City since August of 2009. A graduate of the Fine and Performing Arts department at Saint Louis University, she is currently pursuing her MFA in Acting at The New School for Drama. She is the author of “A love letter to the city” and enjoys writing about herself in the third person.
Alright. Enough of that.
I’m an actor, writer, friend, haunter of museums and bookstores, avid lover of sundresses, parks, good food, good company, adventure, coffee, the arts, my family, trumpets, outdoor markets, and the Talking Heads. Outside of class and rehearsal, I keep busy by exploring the city. I’m also busy hanging on for dear life. The blog was born as a way to keep my family and friends abreast of the goings-on in my life and let them know that their little Georgian is alive and well in the big city. While it remains exactly that, I hope that it has also become a dialogue about the creative process and life as an artist in New York.
This is my blog. Feel free to e-mail me (lindseytrout@gmail.com) or comment. Also, I like to write for money. You should e-mail me about that, too. Here we go.
